What is a School Counselor?

A School Counselor is a type of helper in your school. A School Counselor helps students with many things such as problem solving, academics, understanding feelings, making friends, future career planning, and how to get along with others!

What does a School Counselor do? 

• meet with students in small groups, and
• teaches classroom guidance lessons about things that will help students in and out of school.
