Our school serves approximately 360 students in preschool through sixth grades. Hudson Elementary School serves a large geographic area. Objectives and activities are planned in grade level meetings by a staff who works well together to assure the success of all students. Our collegiality and the richness gained from shared thought is key to the learning environment.

 

For the purpose of closing the achievement gap for all students, staff development continued to be a high priority at Hudson Elementary in the 2007-2008 school year. A breadth of employee opportunities for growth was provided through workshops, seminars, in service days and special training programs to continue overall improvement of educational preparation for the most effective delivery of instruction to . udents. A major emphasis with staff development, once again, this past year was on improving writing instruction. Our staff is committed to increased student achievement for all students.
